Ben Montclair is a co-founder and chief executive of the Sonoran Sustainable Building Advisor Program. While overseeing the delivery of educational services to students, Ben provides consulting services to organizations wishing to create value at the intersection of energy management and federal, state, and utility incentives. Ben works in close partnership with Capital Review Group, a consultancy that discovers and applies federal incentives to commercial-scale energy projects.

After having spent several years in the financial services industry in Seattle, Ben moved to Phoenix in 2006 to pursue his passion for renewable energy and sustainable business strategy. With an eye for the economics of sustainability, Ben’s mantra in both education and consulting is “sustainability as a source of competitive advantage.”

Ben holds an MBA from the W. P. Carey School of Business Full-time Program at Arizona State University where he served as president of the MBA Strategic Marketing Association, managing partner in the MBA program’s Masters Consulting Group (the business school’s for-profit consulting organization), and co-founder of the MBA Sustainable Business Association.
