Prior to Green Ideas, Leslie worked in the construction industry and recognized the tremendous opportunity for sustainable approaches to the design and construction of the built environment.
Leslie was invited by the National SBAP Board to provide the SBAP course for the Southwest region and now works full-time on developing and delivering the Sonoran SBAP’s sustainability curriculum. Leslie is lead instructor for the Sonoran SBAP, chair of the LEED for Schools Advocacy Committee, chair of the Education Committee for the Phoenix Green Chamber of Commerce, and is actively involved in a number of committees for Greenbuild 2009.
